Aller la France

It's a classic game tonight! France vs Italy. Those two teams have a long history between them (97 years of rivalry). But it’s time to leave the past behind us. Of course anytime those two teams are playing each other, it can’t be a friendly game. But tonight, they will play for a spot in the Euro 2008. The game will be at San Siro in Milan, and the French players can expect a hostile welcome. But they will cheer by 5.500 French supporters that are making the trip to Milan. It’s a first time that so many fans are traveling abroad for a football game. It will be hard for them to make noise, but by having them there, the players know that the all country is behind the team. It will be a hard game from the first minute till the end. Each ball will be hard to win. And the French coach will be watching the game from the stand. Can this be a factor to motivate the players? But players like Henry, Makele or Vieara are playing in the biggest team in Europe. So they will guide the young players to victory tonight.
